The nominee of my IRA (Charles Schwab) filed form 990-T requesting rebate of taxes paid by (RIC) on my behalf for tax years 2017 & 2018 on MCI and MPV (stocks held in my IRA). In the past I have always received the tax credit in my account by May or June in year filed. To date I have received no refund of these taxes. Charles Schwab (the nominee of my IRA) say they have filed the 990-T requesting refund, however the IRS has failed to make refund. Is there a problem with the IRS ? What recourse do I have.
2017 refund is overdue by 1 1/2 years and 2018 refund is overdue by 6 months.

Talk to the IRA administrator ... they may need to file the forms again if they got lost.
That's my problem. The administrator says they have filed the 990-T for 2017 and 2018 but the IRS has not refunded the taxes. Has anyone else out there had this problem?
