Refi Loan Fees: HOA questionnaire and HOA Certificate of Insurance

Hello,

Are the HOA questionnaire ($225) and HOA Certificate of Insurance ($82) line items on the Closing Cost Disclosure (HUD-1) deductible when filling out the new loan fee information for a rental refi?

(I terminated the prior intangible loan asset and started a new one in its place)

If so, what category do I list them under?  Doc Fees, Other Fees??

No, the HOA questionnaire fee and certificate of insurance fee are not deductible.

did i mention it is a rental property?  i was under the assumption that all fees on the HUD-1 associated with doing a refi are deductible except for prepays.

These would not be considered a document fee?

Thank you.
