Why can't I see individual stock transactions in the "Easy Step" process after I download a 1099B statement? The "EDIT" button was there yesterday, but has disappeared.

The software shows the totals of "Proceeds", etc. but does not show individual stock transactions unless I go the "Forms" view.

Are you using TurboTax Desktop and switching between Step-by-Step and FORMS views in the upper right hand corner of the screen?

If you are, In TurboTax Desktop Premier, In the Step-by-Step view, I am able to:

  • Click on Federal Taxes and Wages & Income and I'll choose what I work on.
  • Scroll down to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other under Investment Income.
  • Click Start/Update to the right.

At the screen Your investment sales summary, are you not seeing this?  Is this where the Edit button is missing?

Thanks.  I am on a TurboTax Desktop and brought up the screen in the photo. However, the “EDIT” button which was there prior to Wednesday, was gone from the screen as of yesterday.  I will try again today.
