Use of Form 4835

TurboTax is telling me that I need to complete a Form 4835 in direct contradiction to IRS directions.

Also, TurboTax says this Form is not currently available and that I must wait until this unnecessary/prohibited Form is available to TurboTax and subsequently to me. What gives?

That form is for basically for owners of farms who receive farm rental income form based on crops or livestock produced by the renter of the farm but who do not materially participate in the farming operations.

Did you do something different? If so, answer the questions in the program accordingly.

Fair enough, but why not just post exactly what you are trying to report?

Is it a farm or just a regular residential or nonresidential rental property? If it is a farm, do you participate in its operations? If not, do you receive cash from the tenant or crop/livestock shares?
