Under enter common expenses for rental property, what is depletion?

Depletion is a term used for ROYALTIES issued for Oil and Gas.  Please go back through and see if you made a selection that indicated Oil & Gas, or if you posted your 1099-MISC to BOX 2 instead of BOX 1.

 

If you can't find the error you can delete that 1099 and start over.
