Rental Properties, Schedule E and 1099-NEC

My rental property received a 1099-NEC with the business TIN on it. There is no where to report this on Schedule E. How do I handle this?

A 1099-NEC is for non-employee income.  Income is normally reported on Schedule C.  We do want to help you with this.  Please clarify what the 1099-NEC was for so we can determine if it should go on Schedule E.

Our apartments have an agreement with a local cable company to promote their company and we get a small percentage of sales.

No, this is not Schedule E income. You are, in effect, in the business of sales for your cable company. This is Schedule C income.
