Message to Correct the Date of Sale

I'm getting an error message that the date of sale I entered is not within the tax year of 12/26/94 through 12/31/94 using Turbo Tax for Business for Home Sale.  I'm doing taxes for 2020 so I don't understand why I am getting this message.

Are you using TurboTax for Business?  Does the error message really refer to dates in 1994?

Yes.  I found out the error was that I checked the box for partial year return instead of calendar year (my mom passed on 1/24/2020 so I am only covering the period form 1/24 through 12/31/2020) -  the trust I am working on was created on 12/26/1994 and that seemed to make the system think that the period of the return was 12/26/1994 - 12/31/1994.  I changed the period to calendar year return and was able to get around the problem so I'm good now.  Thanks.
