I pay taxes abroad (Spain) on a foreign rental property income. Do I need to pay taxes again in the US?

Isn't this double taxation?

Yes you need to pick up this income again on your personal 1040.

No, there is not really double taxation.  There may not be complete parity, but not completely double taxed.

You are able to take a foreign tax deduction on Sch A or a foreign tax credit on form 1116.

I have attached both the form and the instructions.
