Booth rent will be listed as additional income on your Schedule C
- Login to your TurboTax online account
- Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
- In the search box (located in the upper right hand corner), type Schedule C
- Click the Jump to Schedule C link that appears in the search results
- This will take you to the Your 2017 self-employed work summary screen. Click edit next to the line of work (your salon)
- Click Add income for this work
- In the screen that asks Let us know which form (1099-MISC, etc) or what type of income you had (cash, checks, etc)., click the box next to Additional income and other income. Includes 1099-K, cash, checks, and other income. Click Continue
-
On the next screen, in the description box, type the words "booth rent" and enter the amount of the booth rent that you received.
