I have entered the amount for depreciation on rental property but it is calculating adjusment preferences. how can I remove this ?

Something's not right with your post. *You* don't enter the amount of depreciation. You enter your coast basis and the program figures the depreciation *for you*. So can you clarify please just exactly what it is that "you" are entering and why you disagree with the results?
