I have a townhome used as a rental property. Is that considered single-family or multifamily?

If you only own a single townhome, even if it is attached to other units in the same building, it would be considered a single-family dwelling.

If you owned the entire building, which may consist of more than one unit, then it would be a multi-family dwelling.
