The reference to forms is only for you to verify that the TurboTax is behaving as expected.
Why can you not see the forms tree -- on a windows downloaded/CD version, look at top right of the screen. When you are in the step-by-step mode it will have a tab "Forms ". Click that and two panes will open. On the left pane you will see all the forms and worksheets being USED shown. Click any one and the right pane will show that form as filled out by TurboTax based on your entries and its computation.
If you are using the On-line then I cannot help ( I am not familiar with the product at all ). Ditto for Mac product.
So unless you have a specific question / issue , I am at a loss as to how to help you more.
