I didn't put the income from my rental condo. I did not make any money on it last year but how do amend it or do I even need to?

Cash flow does not determine if you made any money from it, as you cannot deduct mortgage principal.

Yes, you must amend the return and take depreciation allowed even if it runs at a loss.  

You can download the 2016 amendment software for Windows at the following link.

You will also need the .tax2016 data file for your online tax return. As soon as you sign in to your TurboTax Online account you should see a link that says "Download your .tax file." If you don't see that, the instructions in the following FAQ should work.
