I am entering my 1098 for my 2 family home and i used 1/2 of the mortgage interest and RE taxes towards my rental unity. Do I still input the full 1098 information ?

No, mortgage interest and property taxes are divided between personal (Schedule A, itemized deductions) and rental use (Schedule E) , proportional to the number of days used for each.

For instance if you rent one half of your floor space, you should allocate one half of your mortgage interest and property tax times days rented/365 to your Schedule E (rental) and the balance to your Schedule A, itemized deductions.
