How to enter 1099b Box B if the actual sale is differnt from reported sale

I am trying to enter my 1099B using the summary method as I have multiple stock sales.  I made multiple sales of one stock which did not have any cost basis or sales date on some of the sales.  Some do have the date and cost basis.

Therefore, box b is checked.  I do know the cost basis of the other sales and the date acquired.  The issue is that the sales are long term (even though they are listed as short term because a date of sale was not available).  Therefore, although TurboTax allows me to enter the correct basis I don't see how to enter the sales date or change it to long term in the step by step process.

On a related issue I have an error on the forms on the Exceptions Smart Worksheet at Section B. Line 8 Column 1.  Asking for: if summarizing single letter adjustment codes that apply?  Unsure where to find the requested information.

Note: this is how to do it in previous years. I don't have 2019 TurboTax.

After answering YES to I have a 1099-B, click on the "I'll type it in myself" option
On the next screen, name your brokerage.
on the next screen, check ALL the boxes for which your 1099-B has transactions assigned to that Box.

I.E. you have long term so check box D or E.
You'll have to enter the subtotals for each box category.

If you have long term sales in Category B on your statement, you'll have to get out your calculator to determine  the  LT subtotals yourself.

alternatively if your transactions are itemized now, you can use EDIT/UPDATE to change the Box assignment of any transaction.

Typically, you wouldn't have a large number of LT transactions to report.
