- On the page "Your 20XX rentals and royalties summary," click the trashcan icon beside the rental property you no longer wish to include on your return.
- Confirm the deletion and continue on with your return.
In TurboTax for Desktop, go to Federal Taxes >> Wages & Income.
- If you see the question "Did these still apply in 20XX?" check the "No" button beside the Schedule E item you no longer need.
- Otherwise, from the Income Summary page, update the Rental Properties topic and continue to the Rental and Royalty Summary page.
- Click Delete beside the property you need to remove.
- You also have the option to delete Schedule E and all related forms using Forms Mode (icon in TurboTax header). The Delete Form button appears at the bottom of an open form.
