How do I enter HOA expenses for a rental property

We rented our house out fully (we moved to a new home) starting 07/20/2017. In turbo tax, where it asks to enter any rental property maintenance expenses such as homeowner association fee, what do I put? 

1 Only the HOA sum from 08/2017 - 12/2017 inclusive

2 The HOA sum from 08/2017 - 12/2017 inclusive and prorated July HOA?

3 The HOA sum of the whole year (12 months)

You would only enter the whole year if you set up TurboTax to prorate for you.

Thank you for the multiple choice list .... and the answer is ...... 2 - The HOA sum from 08/2017 - 12/2017 inclusive and prorated July HOA.  

You would only enter the full year if you asked TurboTax to prorate for you.
