Gifting rental income only

Can a person, who owns joint rental property, gift away his/her rights to the rental income to other owners? No ownership change, still joint ownership.

No income to be collected by the person who gives away. All income to be collected by the other owner only. Would this trigger any tax reporting for the giftor
