Gas royalties are showing on both schedule c and schedule e being reported twice

To get your royalties listed on Schedule E:

Go to Federal > Wages & Income
Scroll down to the Other Common Income section
Click Revisit next to Form 1099-MISC
Then click Edit and Continue.
When you get to Source of 1099-MISC Income select Investment income from property you own. This puts the royalty income on Schedule E.
Proceed through the rest of the interview.
