To get your royalties listed on Schedule E:
- Go to Federal > Wages & Income
- Scroll down to the Other Common Income section
- Click Revisit next to Form 1099-MISC
- Then click Edit and Continue.
- When you get to Source of 1099-MISC Income select Investment income from property you own. This puts the royalty income on Schedule E.
- Proceed through the rest of the interview.
