TurboTax is stating the Cost Basis of stock transactions does not match the Capital Gain (Loss) Worksheet and the values should be left blank. When the values are blanked out it requests values for the transactions. IS this a "bug" in the software?
I'm ready to file and the check sends me into a loop of requesting the values to be blank and restoring the cost basis to the worksheet.

Yes, it is a bug in the software and the developers are working on a fix.

I just updated TurboTax (1/25/2021 7:00pm) and continued where I stopped. I am still getting the message to recheck Form 8949 to blank to cost basis values. Once they are blank, I am then instructed to enter the cost basis for each stock transaction.
You may have just updated your copy of TurboTax but the latest update was released last week.
The next update will most likely be released this Thursday (1/28/2021).
I bought a Mac and filed using MacOS without the problem!
