are you using the CD version?
No. I am using the downloaded version
Please try this solution and let us know if it works for you.
no that did not work, pop up isn't the problem since my browser does popup and let's me sign in, then it says it's successful but tt says it failed
There can be many variables affecting importing. Click this link for Import Troubleshooting ideas that have helped others.
Remember that you can always enter Sales Section Totals if you're unable to import successfully.
If I enter summaries manually the program tells me I have to print all the details and mail them to the IRS. This is ridiculous. I have 250 pages just from one 1099-B.
@Davidjl What version of H&R did you use? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Did it import last year's TT file completely with all carryovers?
The trouble shooting guide would be helpful TT would give me a sign in screen but the problem is I can’t even get a screen to put in my log in info
Same issue for me. I am able to import via Wells Fargo Advisors, but not for Fidelity. No sign-in screen for me, tried to continue, but it keep crashing for me in the past 1-2 weeks. I sent the diagnostic reports for each crash, but it seems that the issue is still there and has not been addressed yet.
I just killed the day on Monday with this problem. I am using a brand new Mac24 with the latest software. This has soured me on Turbotax and Fidelity after using them for what seems a lifetime. Next year i am going to switch to H.R Block and am seriously considering moving my trading accounts to E Trade.
Please try to follow the workaround here for importing Fidelity.
Please let us know if this does not work. @Davidjl @peterm6389 @vservice @mywayfly @halmita1962
Well I just installed today's program update and it STILL does not work. Firefox and Edge both fail. Why can't this be fixed??????
i gave up yesterday and typed. Took a while but I did not have that many transactions. Will consider H&R next year. TT is just not testing properly, not rocket science. When I finally brokedown and called support the service was fast and the agent very nice but she said there was a case in for this but there was no way to be notified when it was fixed and maybe it was because I had capital gains and needed to buy the version above deluxe. Do not believe that would have resolved it either but for that many transactions was not going to bother. Too bad, I've been a TT customer for 25+ years. Maybe all the investments have moved to the online version. Think one can get that for free from FIDO and maybe Vanguard but it does not suit our work style. Oh well, i feel your frustration. @CarissaM
@5flavors Your manual entry wouldn’t work for me. I have over 2500 transactions. If HR Block works then it’s very attractive to ditch TT.
