What is your question? What kind of account did you move? Was it a 401K or IRA account? Did you get any 1099 forms? What kind? 1099B 1099Int 1098Div or a 1099R? You have to report it but it might not be taxable.
To finish filing says we have to upgrade because we sold stock, bonds, or mutal funds. We did none of that. We only changed financial group.
Did you get a 1099B? How did you change groups? Did you get cash and move it? Did they just transfer the shares? Do you have the same funds and shares in the new account?
We got a 1099-div from Edward Jones, titled 2021 consolidated 1099 statement. Shows all stocks and transactions. This has all previous stocks and current transaction and was recognized by Intuit.
