I am using turbo tax from my browser, so I do not think it is a matter of version. Yes, i am still receiving that under construction message. It is about real estate in another country. Thank you.
Form 4562 is listed as available however, the depreciation section (calculations and reporting) is scheduled to be ready by February 26, 2022. We appreciate your patience.
@Anonymous
I am having the same issue since Feb 20. I have also contacted a tax expect wo said there should be no problem. Form 4562 was listed in the error message as not ready bit according to the IRS list and the TE, it is available. I spent over an hour with support with no solution other than to try it again tomorrow. e also contacted 2 tech support specialists who could not resolve the issue. So here I am today with the same message and still unable to see the numbers under depreciation. Filing to the IRS would have been completed by now but because if this I am in limbo. TT needs to step up and resolve this.
@PatriciaV , the software still shows the under construction message. Do you have an update? Thank you.
@PatriciaV I think what you're saying above is that TurboTax tied the Depreciation function into the availability of both 4562 and 1116. Like many people, I don't need 1116 and would love to have this function released for those who just need 4562. Could you pass this request on to your software team?
To others: do you know if TaxAct, TaxSlayer, HR Block have this functionality working?
Depreciation and amortization work for TaxAct.
Today is Feb 28 and still getting the same message. According to post it should have been ready on Feb 26. I only need Form 4562 so I don't understand the hangup. Someone stated TaxAct does not the issue, so should we switch to file or wait this out? As previously stated I sent a hour on phone first with a Tax Expert and the Tech Support, and neither had a solution. Their advice was to keep trying tomorrow; very sad to get that kind of response.
I dunno. I might have to switch over to TaxAct. It's only $35 for the online version for rental properties.

I'll give it a few more days and see if Turbotax gets their act together.
Using TT Premier online. March 1 today and still getting same message about form 4562. I spent another hour on the phone with a TT agent with no help, no solution. Has anyone had any progress with this error? THis is very frustrating especially hearing that this section would be available, Feb 26,28 now March 3. Does anyone have a solution or helpful information? Some acknowledgement from TT would be appreciated but lacking.
I have this issue and another one with TT. I am giving up and switching to either TaxAct or OLT.com. Most likely the latter. I already have most of my federal return on them already. It was not difficult to switch, although none of the options have a questionnaire as thorough as TT. HR does not support one form I need and that is the reason I am not considering it. Good luck.
Form 4562 is available. Click this link for a listing of Federal Tax Form Availability.

MG1, have you gotten a Sch E with 4562 depreciation working? If you've been successful, could you please share with everyone else here.
Even though the forms are available, Turbo Tax still give me this notice "Depreciation and Amortization Under Construction 2021."
I cleared the online file and started over. No problems with data or that form 4562 problem. I am at review and may file tomorrow. Should have done this sooner.
Using TT Online premier. Cleared cache and cookies several times, used different browsers and computers. Today I started over online and it has worked with no glitches.
cleared online file and started over.
