Cost Basis on short options that expire worthless.

I have issues every year with turbo tax requiring me to update the cost basis. And looking through all the comments it appears many have these same issues. This year I did the bulk update and changed dropdown to option trade and 0 cost basis. TT removed all of these non cov. short term gains from my total gains. Very bad. At this point it's incompetence on TT to get this right. I can't believe their response is to try another browser. Seeing that TT is that incapable, this will be my last year using it. It takes me more time fighting the system then it would take me to fill out the forms myself.
