We acquired land on a LLC (myself and my partner both have 50% stake) in TX. We leased out the land and do not directly participate in farming. My understanding is that we have to file Form 4835 for showing the lease income. Is that correct? We are using Turbotax business and tried several things but we were unable to find Form 4835. If we are using Turbotax and we have a LLC should we be filling Form 4835 and if so how can we get to it. Thanks!

Since you are using the downloaded program switch to the FORMS mode and search for the form 4835 if you cannot find it in the interview mode in the income section.
I am not finding 4835 in FORMS mode either.
I ran into this thread a while ago - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/business-taxes/discussion/looking-for-form-4835-for-farm-rental-in...
Is that thread indicating we only have to complete rental income/expense for 1040 and not when we are filing for LLC?
The form you want is not used in the business return ... simply enter the income in the Sch E section for rentals (which is actually the same as the form you think you need).
Thank you!
