When unexpected results occur, I recommend signing out of the program and closing the browser window completely. Wait a minute.

Then, open an incognito Chrome Window. Go to the TurboTax support at this link: TurboTax Updates for Stimulus Payment Registration.

I think you mean that you filed your 2020 Federal 1040 tax return and you did not receive some or all of the portion of the Recovery Rebate Credit (RRC) on line 30 of the 2020 1040 tax return? Is this what happened? Please clarify.

You believed that you are due a Recovery Rebate Credit (RRC) on line 30 of the 2020 1040 tax return.

Perhaps the IRS disagreed with one or more of the amounts reported as stimulus check 1 or stimulus check 2? Do you have an IRS provided Notice 1444, Economic Impact Payment as a record of your stimulus payments?. This form was mailed about 15 days after the payment was made.

The IRS Get My Payment tool may also tell you the amount of your stimulus payments and where your stimulus payments were deposited or mailed.

Has the IRS disallowed a dependent reported as a qualifying child on your tax return? Does every qualifying child have a Social Security number or do they have an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)?
