If you are preparing a Schedule C and would like to change the business start date you entered, in TurboTax Online, log in to your TurboTax Online account and continue your return. Then:

Locate Business Section: Go to Wages & Income, then find Self-employment income and expenses.
Edit Business Profile: Select Edit next to your business name.
Update Dates: Scroll to the "Business Summary" or "About your Business" section to edit the start date.

In TurboTax Home & Business, select the Business tab, then "I'll choose what I work on". At the summary page in the Business tab Let's gather your business info, select Update next to Profit or loss from business. Then:

Select Edit on the line with the name of the business.
Select Update next to General Business Information.
If you previously selected that you started the business in 20xx, you can change that selection. Otherwise, TurboTax Home & Business doesn't show a start date for the business.
