If you want to verify that they have actually "landed" in the system, you can use the state's official self-service tools through
myPATH Portal. Visit the myPATH website. You don't necessarily need an account to check your refund status, but creating one lets you view "Letters and Notices" and "Submissions," where you can often see whether your documentation has been logged.

The answers to your questions are listed below. Yes, however it must include the earnings on the excess contribution as well. You should see code J Yes, the penalty will apply to all three years the excess remained in the Roth IRA. Tax year 2026 will not have the penalty but will be taxed on the earnings portion. Yes, each year must have Form 5329 and the penalty will be due for each tax year. Interest and penalty will apply for each day the payment is late. It's possible to request relief from the underpayment penalty. Use Form 843 after payment, it never hurts to try and success can happen. Yes, as indicated you will receive a 1099-R with the code mentioned above for your 2026 tax year. Again, the earnings are taxable in 2026. When finalizing your return you can enter a 5-Digit Pin which is a number you create to sign your return, or you can elect to use your prior-year Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) for verification. you can find your AGI on Form 1040 on Line 11. You can also order a free digital transcript of your return from the IRS. You can view your online transcript immediately, while a mailed transcript takes 5–10 days to receive.
How do I find last year's AGI?
Once you have the AGI, to enter it on your return and e-file your return:
Open your return
Select the File tab
Continue until you reach the screen that says To continue, select options below
Enter your corrected AGI in Enter last year's AGI here
Select Continue and follow the screens until you've re-transmitted your return

There aren't known issues between this Schedule and Form, but generally TurboTax asks users to manually input their at-risk limit amounts in passthrough entities (use the below K-1 QuickZoom menus), rather than having the system calculate it (which features many unknowns). See below for a 6198 Line 4 flow-thru item off the K-1 wks that could be limited; the program asks the user to update the Form manually (image 1) using the Form worksheets (image 2).
Make sure you've hit all the QuickZoom menus on your Schedule K-1 worksheet for at-risk limits and made all the required entries in the sub-menus.

You will need to send a Form 3911 to the IRS to request that missing refund. This asks the IRS to track down the payment. If they see it was never cashed and returned to them, they can credit it back to your account. Here is a link to download the form and send to them. Also view this link on where to mail or fax the form.
Be sure to record your banking information in section 1 line 7 of the form as the IRS no longer issues paper checks.

For New York City employees, health insurance information is typically found in two specific boxes on your W-2: Box 12 and Box 14. Depending on whether you are looking for the total value of your coverage or your specific pre-tax contributions, you will check the following:
The combined cost of health insurance coverage provided by the City of New York (including both the employer's and your own contributions) is reported in Box 12 with Code DD. This is for informational purposes only as required by the Affordable Care Act. This amount is not taxable and does not affect your federal or state tax liability.
Your personal contributions to health insurance premiums, which are deducted from your pay on a pre-tax basis under Section 125, are typically listed in Box 14 labeled as IRC125. This amount is already subtracted from your taxable wages in Box 1. Unlike federal rules, these contributions are subject to New York State and City taxes. When filing your NY state return, you must add this amount back to your taxable income (often using form IT-225).

When property tax shows twice in TurboTax, it usually means the information was entered more than once or imported twice. To fix this, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Deductions & Credits section. 2. Navigate to the Property Taxes subsection. 3. Look for duplicate entries of your property tax payments. 4. Select the duplicate entry and use the option to delete or remove it. This should remove the extra property tax amount and reflect the correct total on your return.
