Same here but in my case everything is correct until my downloads from brokerages are missing from expectd 8949 of 100 entries and program downloads to 45. It would be great if the numbers are correct or they can quarantee my entries. Perhaps just a statement that utilized TT would explain all the problems. Seriously when you go to low cost software companies (I certainly would not admit in house)you get crap.

Can I combine all accounts for a financial institution in one entry or should I enter the details for each bank/account combination?

Schedule F is not functional. I've spent hours trying to do a workaround. It's not recognizing the form. Even started a new return and when I open a new schedule F, it will not allow me to even fill in the farm name. Trying to do it in Easy Step mode just brings me to "rental farm" screens.

On that left menu,  Scroll down to Switch Products Click the down arrow You can  Upgrade Downgrade or Clear and start over. Select what you want to do.

Hello Team, I always used Home and Business desktop edition.  This time I would also like to use the same license for one of my Student who has 2 W2's and some intrest income , who is also a full time student.  Can I use the same product and use the child taxes as a 2nd federal file.?

Can you clarify the zip code issue? Is this the zip code for your home. Is it for the provider of the form?

To do this, install the desktop software, select "Continue from TurboTax Online" at the sign-in screen, and import your data.    Here are some other steps you can take if TurboTax is saying your license code was already used:   Verify Account: Ensure you are not logged into a different or new TurboTax account. The license is permanently linked to the first account used. Check "Downloads": log into your account and check the "Downloads" section to re-download the software. Reinstall Software: Uninstall the TurboTax program, restart your computer, and reinstall it to clear potential activation issues. Contact Support: If it's possible that the code was stolen or used by someone else, call  TurboTax customer support for further assistance to have the license reset. @suevny07

A partner in our partnership  called saying they received the following error message after entering the  1065 schedule K1 information related to Code O box 11 (1202 exclusion)   “Check this entry Sch K-1 Wks Partnerships LL Sch K-1 Partnersip Additional Info 1: Other income fields has no entry.  A total of $10,505 has been entered for code (s) I,L to Q and ZZ.   Code (s) I,L to Q and ZZ require(s) additional information on the appropriate lines of this section .”   The box 11 has Code O,  so the $10,505  is eligible for exclusion for section 1202 gains and is not considered additional or other income.   Does this mean the $10,505 should be listed in the K1 from the partnership box 20 as well- if so what code should be used in box 20. I cannot find a relevant code in the IRS instructions. For this particular partner only a portion of the 10,505 is excludable.   The partner is using  2025 desktop TurboTax Home and Business for a macintosh  Thanks for your help!

Help documents say there should be an option to downgrade once you get to the File part of TurboTax, but this option does not exist. Using Downgrade from the side menu is greyed out even though I did not use the help of any experts throughout preparing my tax return.
No, as other income it is not reported as self-employment and not subject to self-employment tax.

It makes no logical sense that you'd have to decline e-filing your Federal return in order to get the mail-in option for the State, but here we are. Thank you again!

In the current desktop version you don't get two columns using either the "Walk me through everything" or "I'll choose what I work on".  You do get them when going directly to the form.  Everything on the forms appear correct.  It was on the form that I moved the SS income from myself (listed as Spouse) to my husband (listed as Taxpayer).  I think there is an issue using the two guided routes in that neither give an option to enter other SS income or change what was listed.  I don't know if that's an issue because I imported my income data.  That would be my best guess.
I think you mean you received a Form 1095-A that was in the name of someone else. If so, they would need to enter that on their tax return if they were required to file one.
