Hello, I received a promotional email multiple times to switch from the Desktop version to TurboTax Online and when I finished my entire return the promotional values are not honored. The email contains a link that when clicked brings me to a TurboTax webpage (there is no service code anywhere in the email). The webpage states that using TurboTax Do It Yourself Premium Online will cost $59 for1 Federal return with e-file. In addition, it says State Return is $24 with e-file. The text regarding the state return price can be clicked to open a pop-up window which states if filing in multiple states, then each state is the same discounted price (should be $24/state). Also, the fine print in the email and webpage says that the discount expires on April 15, 2026. *See photos* I have called TurboTax support multiple times and they are not helpful. I even supposedly talked to a supervisor that said they cannot do anything about it because I do not have a service code. The supervisor and other representatives told me to "clear and start over", to see if when starting over and using the email link plus the link on the webpage that opens to start my return will resolve the issue. I did this a few hours ago and completed the return for a second time and I am not receiving the promotional pricing. I have seen on reddit that people have had similar situations with different TurboTax promotions requiring them to use a browser that does not have ad-blockers and/or anti-tracking. I am wondering if anyone knows if this works because this will mean that I will have to "clear and start over" a second time and fill out my return for a third time.
