Thank-you for the attempt. That definitely does not work for me. I clicked edit and all of the information was already there. I even deleted it and re-entered the information from scratch with the same result. Strangely it shows an adoption credit for the full $17,280.00 on the form 8839, but on the 1040x line 15 column C, it shows up as blank, and it should say $5,000.00. It is apparent to me this is a bug in Intuit's software, and I have updated to make sure a recent fix did not correct it, and it hasn't. With Intuit being such a software giant surely they can setup a remote session and help debug this thing directly. Maybe the bug only appears on certain hardware/OS configurations. In case it matters I am running Turbo Tax on Windows 11 (fully updated), on a Microsoft Surface with an ARM (Snapdragon) Processor.
