As you have already filed, please wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you may correct it by adding your overtime deduction and resubmit. If it is accepted, you need to file an amended return.   If you are expecting a refund, we recommend that you wait to amend until after the IRS has processed your original return and you have received your refund.   To amend your tax return, please read this TurboTax article.    Please note that the amendment form 1040X will only be available in TurboTax after 3/4/2026.

Yes.  You are not required to enter a dependent even if they qualify to be your dependent.
I opted in for the early pay. I thought early pay would be instantly after approvals (as shown on advertisements)?

You report an indirect rollover in the interview which follows the entry of your form 1099-R.   In TurboTax Online, you report it by following these steps:   Open your tax return Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income Navigate to the list of income categories Locate the section Retirement Plans and Social Security and click on the arrow on the right Click Start next to IRAs, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R). Enter your form 1099-R and follow the interview When you arrive to the page Tell us if you moved the money through a rollover or conversion, click on the radio button I rolled over some or all of it to an IRA or other retirement account within the time limits (normally 60 days)

Thanks for the steps. I had tried that but it was not providing an option to update. I ended up resolving the issue by starting over by going to Tax Tools > Tools > Clear & Start Over.   It was only after starting over that I was finally prompted to add my personal HSA contributions when I went through the steps you provided.
Yes.   A sales route is considered by the IRS as an intangible asset.   It must be amortized over 15 years using the straight line method.   See this IRS document for more information.

@mesquitebean    I'm pretty sure I have the answer. The problem is apparently due to a massive error in the follow-up questions, that TTX hasn't fixed yet...or refuses to admit they screwed up.   @bryce_in_tx    Unfortunately, the question in the interview, just before it DUMPED you into the Simplified vs General procedure, is misleading for your situation...   If your box 2a has a non-zero number in it..(not blank, nor marked as undetermined), and that number is somewhat lower than the box 1 number, due to an after-tax contribution amount that is noted in box 5...then edit that retirement form again, and when you get to the following page (below), answer it as-if the displayed edits were present  (i.e. you needed to answer YES).     Answering YES will use the box 2a $$ amount on your for 1040.  Check lines 5a and 5b before and after entering that 1099-R.   (But if you answered No, and already entered some date or $$ in the "General" or "Simplified" calculation area ,you might need to delete your 1099-R first and re-enter it from scratch...not sure of that though). ______________________________________
