When I typed in information it showed in light gray on the screen, rather than black. When I dowloaded the return, this information did not print, therefore the amended return has no value.

There is no need to identify the portion that applies to 2024, so TurboTax provides no way to do so.

If your dependent had Marketplace insurance, the IRS requires it to be reported on your return because you’re claiming them. Even though it’s your dependent’s policy, it must be included on your return. You’ll need to enter Form 1095-A with your dependent's information so the IRS can reconcile the Premium Tax Credit.     Where do I get my 1095-A form? Where do I enter my 1095-A?

To enter a 1099-R with a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) in TurboTax Online, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Wages & Income section. 2. Scroll to Retirement Plans and Social Security and select Start or Update next to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R). 3. Enter your 1099-R exactly as it appears. 4. When TurboTax asks about the distribution type, select that part of the distribution was a qualified charitable distribution. 5. Enter the QCD amount as prompted. TurboTax will include the total distribution on Line 4a of Form 1040, then subtract the QCD amount on Line 4b and label it as "QCD," so it isn't taxable. This ensures that the QCD is correctly reported and excluded from taxable income.

You should enter any and all box 12 information that is reported on your W-2.  It does not matter how many codes and amounts your W-2 is showing for box 12 because the W-2 entry in TurboTax will allow you to enter as many as needed, even if there is more than 4.     The designations for box 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d are meaningless because the letter codes beside the amounts is the important information designating what the amount is showing.     An amount in box 12 of your W-2 with code W beside it represents HSA contributions made through your payroll at work.    To learn more about the box 12 codes and what they mean, take a look at the following TurboTax help article:   What do the letter codes in box 12 of my W-2 mean?

TurboTax can handle a large quantity of individual stock transactions per brokerage account. If you have a large number of sales on your 1099-B, TurboTax may limit the number of transactions you can import. To continue, you can enter a summary of your stock sales instead of each transaction individually. Your brokerage statement should have a summary by sales category (e.g., short-term covered, long-term covered). To enter summary info in TurboTax Online: 1. Go to the Wages & Income section, then to Stock Sales. 2. Answer Yes to selling investments. 3. When asked how to add tax info, pick Enter a different way. 4. Choose Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds. 5. Select Enter sales totals instead when prompted. 6. Enter total proceeds and cost basis for each sales category from your 1099-B. This lets you bypass the transaction limit and move forward.

I assume that this form is not reporting a distribution from an inherited IRA.  After continuing from the page that lists the Forms 1099-R that you have entered, 2025 TurboTax will ask if you had a Roth IRA before 2021.  When you answer Yes, TurboTax will treat code T the same as code Q.  This nontaxable income will then be included on Form 1040 line 4a but will e excluded from taxable income on line 4b.

I have tried several times to upload my 1099-DA from Kraken. It has thousands of transactions so doing it manually is not an option. Every time I try, Turbotax says it cannot upload, but it uploaded my 1099-B for stocks from Kraken the first try without issue.
