Same here , made me fill the whole thing out which was almost 3 hours.  Decline the upcharges 20-30 times, nothing would import.  Get to the end.... FORCES you to pay the premium then charges for a state e-filing but then requires me to print and mail since one of their says the box isnt checked which is clearly check... "Smart run again"  since the box is not check this field should be empty.     Empty it,    You are required to file this section out.   START over... check this box and fill this out.     This can not be e-filed because you did not check box 12.  Which is checked.

Thank you.  I thought I read somewhere that if your 1099 does not list 10a or 10b to leave them blank.   If that is not the case, I have the following information: Year Total Benefits Payable Total State Tax Withholding Total Federal Withholding IDES FEIN   Would IDES FEIN be the Payer's ID?  I already entered that information.

I just had the same problem as I had just completed my taxes to send them out.  It just hung in a pinwheel indefinitely, i had to force quit after waiting 5-6 minutes, and everything was gone.  Can someone please check the calendar and let me know what year this is?  Normally it would create the tax file right at the beginning and just autosave as you progressed.  Now I'm going to have to be up all night redoing everything.  I'm running a nice and recent Macbook Pro and I have never once had a single program on my laptop freeze like this.  Even trying to login to the website is an absolute joke.  I have to open one tab, try to login with my email address which is correct), never receive any email, then open a new tab and login using the username instead.  This product absolutely reeks of shortcuts, lack of testing of the user interface/user experience, or a sensible workflow where a tax file would be created at the beginning of the user session and autosaved.  Then when these freezing events take place which are triggered by absolutely nothing - the user would not lose their entire records for both their personal and business taxes.  I can't believe this is really a problem given the current technology available for both programming and automation testing.  I absolutely would like a refund on this shoddy product as you have just wasted many hours of me time.  Time is money.  Now I have to take a few deep breaths and start all over at the beginning again.  Obviously more competitors are needed in the tax software space for a bit of competition which will drive up the quality of the software package.  Right now it's a race between would i rather smash my right hand or my left foot with an iron?  While both may be mildly hilarious, neither is accomplishing the goal at hand.  Please try harder for a future release.
Go to the personal information section (My Info) and change your answer to the Can someone else claim me? question to YES.
If you filed jointly last year, both of your AGI's are the same.   @aravind0106

@dianewspires  If I'm understanding your situation, TurboTax does not get feedback from the IRS about your IRS account balance after you pay any taxes due.   If your return showed you owed $1626 at the time of filing, and if you paid it, then TurboTax does not update the Tax Home with your payment.   It merely shows the status of your Form 1040 as it existed when it was prepared.  If the return said you owed $1626 and so does the Tax Home, then it will always say that.     If you have an online IRS account, in a few days you can check the actual balance of your IRS account to see if your payment shows up there.   That will depend on how long it takes the IRS to actually perform the debit.
Looks like there are turbotax bugs now that Its Deductible is not able to auto populate the 8283 forms.  There are several steps to get to a work around.
I have a disc but my computer will not download the minimum operating system needed.
