I agree that the TurboTax Business software this year is very bad. I'll be looking for an alternate for next year. I paid for the software and also $25 to e-file the state of California 541 (associated with the Federal 1041). It doesn't work.

By signing on to myturbotax.intuit.com I cannot see anything related to my information.  It just asks me to start my tax return but it's already been completed.  On my desktop version it is no longer accessible via the 2025 icon..it's disappeared but I have completed it prior to downloading info from financial institution and have a .pdf saved to prove it.  Why/how can I not see completed 2025 tax return via desktop icon to file it online?  When I sign into Intuit, nothing shows and no taxreturn.tax2025 shows up on my desktop that I found.  It must be somewhere since I completed it via TurboTax2025 desktop icon previously...appreciate help as nothing I've found online works.  Thanks.

Your gross income in box 1 or your W-2 has already been reduced by the amount of your HSA contributions that are reported in box 12 with code W.   Make sure that you complete the HDHP interview section in TurboTax  to certify your enrollment in a high deductible health plan otherwise your contribution will be added back into your taxable income and it will be treated as an excess contribution.   Refer to the TurboTax Help articles Where do I enter my HSA distribution?, What is a health savings account (HSA)?,  What Is the IRS Form 8889? and Why am I showing an excess HSA contribution? for additional information.   [Edited 03/16/26| 9:43am PST]

No one can call you from this user forum.   TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return, so no one at TT knows if the IRS has issued your refund.   You say the return was accepted on January 16, but do not mention any other details regarding the information that you are seeing on the IRS refund site.   Please check the IRS refund site to see what it says there.  First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.     You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds   To track your state refund:     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr   @pmaci91006

I see the issue you are having and tested it in TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop. You are correct that the county is a required field for Form 511-NR, and the only counties listed are ones in Oklahoma.   Since the county field is required, the best solution is to choose the OK county where your OK income came from.   Technically it will look odd to have an OK county name next to a Texas address, but this way all fields will be correct.    Because the Form 511-NR instructions were not overly specific on how to fill out the address line on the tax return, I don't think the county field will matter in the end as long as your current address in on the form.

I'm in the same boat as most of these users.  This is NOT acceptable.  I would not be using TurboTax for the 1041 if it wasn't for the fact that tax accountants overcharge for my relatively simple taks of creating a K-1 from my trust for my 1040.  Frankly, this year's version is even worse than it has been in the past.  I had to override several entries where steps were necessary in the step by step but overlooked.  Forinstance, I kept getting the allocation to beneficiaries at some percentage other than 100% for just one benefactor (myself) and finding the total for my income via forms to distribute.  The step by step seemed to assume a number that skipped dividends.  I could go on, but frankly I'm too mad about the fact I can't even file because of this software glitch.   We really should be given our money back for the time wasted on this issue. I've spent WAY more time than can be expected.

We can't see your tax return, but you can try the following to correct your 1095-A issue.   Sometimes the program will create a "blank" 1095-A or 8962 in the background because of a question you answered earlier during the interview process. You must delete these first.   In TurboTax Windows (Desktop): Open or continue your return. Click the Forms mode icon (top right). Look for Form 1095-A and Form 8962 (left column) Click the form(s), then Click the Delete Form button (bottom of the screen). Click Errors in the top menu to see if any other health insurance worksheets are stuck. Switch back to Step-by-Step mode. In TurboTax Online: Open or continue your return. Click on Tax Tools (bottom left), then Click on Tools, and then Click on Delete a Form. Find Form 1095-A and Form 8962 and click Delete next to them. Go back through the Health Insurance section, and select "NO" when the program asks, "Did you receive Form 1095-A?" Please let us know if this doesn't work, and we can explore other options for you to try

@kcarterco , I am surprised at your response.  There was never ( and I do not see in my responses  to you ) any intention of question your knowledge/experience / education/ training/ employment etc. on knowledge of tax code.  I am very sorry and apologize if my response  elicited that thought. All I wanted to get across --- you presented a problem and therefore based on details of your post I honestly tried to replicate the issue identified by you.  I have not been successful in this effort.  TurboTax behaved exactly as expected ( using my admittedly meagre knowledge of  Tax code related to Foreign Tax Credit).  It was never about you.  It was about an issue  that needed to be replicated. Note that my failure does not mean that it ( TurboTax  mis-behavior ) does not exist --- I just could not replicate based on my copy of the product, your  post details  and my  Operating system on my machine.   I will therefore forward this thread to the  powers be and see somebody else can replicate the issue and/or resolution.   pk
