Hello,   Has there been any resolution to this issue of having only 5 lines available for the T1135?  Other tax software like UFile provide way more lines for its users.  Limiting the number of lines to 5 for Part B(2)-Shares of non-resident corporations is not realistic.  It is not correct to "combine items" as suggested in TurboTaxSusan's response below since the T1135 instructions clearly say that the taxpayer must "report the detail of EACH PARTICULAR PROPERTY that was held at any time during the year in the appropriate category".  Also, asking the customer to mail in the T1135 when Netfile capability is supposed to be available with the software does not seem to take into consideration that this presents additional work and cost to the customer.  I don't understand while there are so many lines available in the Schedule 3, but only 5 lines are available in Part B(2) of the T1135.     This issue has been raised in earlier years.  If it has not been fixed for the 2025 year, is TurboTax ever going to get around to fixing it?  If not, customers who hold shares of more than 5 non-resident corporations at any time during the year may have to seek other software options unless they want to be saddled with the additional inconvenience and cost of filing the T1135 by mail separately.   Thank you.

No, the principal amount paid is not your property taxes.   Your property taxes will be listed on your 1098 if the taxes were paid from an escrow account.   Where can I find out how much property (real estate) tax I paid?   If you your lender pays property taxes from an escrow account, check:   Form 1098 (Mortgage Interest Statement) - Box 10 often shows real estate taxes paid, but it will say Property/Real Estate Tax Your year-end escrow statement  Your mortgage company online account, if you have one   If you pay property taxes directly (no escrow):   Go to your county tax assessor or tax collector website Search by Property address, Parcel number, or Name   You can check your bank statements to find the amount of tax paid or if you bought or sold a home during 2025, your closing statement may show property tax payments also.

I updated my version of Turbo Tax Deluxe on 2/24/26 and the problem still exists. If I select add a charity, I specify the charity name, select a cash donation, select continue, enter the amount of my cash donation, select continue, and the new charity specifies "Needs Review" if I try to edit the charity fix this issue, I get the same screens as when I added the charity.    My guess is that I need to enter additional information about the charity to fix the "Needs Review" but the screens do not allow me to enter the information needed to clear the "Needs Review".  I believe this is a software issue that needs to be resolved

TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return. Before you begin troubleshooting your state return, go back through your federal return and make sure everything is correct with your Schedule K1 entries.   After you review your federal return, select the State Taxes tab and review the state section. Pay close attention to the information, especially if you have made changes to your federal return. There might be new sections that need to be completed.  Troubleshooting common federal to state transfer issues If your problem continues, you can try the following: Go out of your program and go back in. Clear your cache and cookies. Try a different Web Browser. If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates". If you have any additional questions or information regarding this please return to TurboTax Community and we would be glad to help.   Where do I enter a Schedule K-1 that I received?

I am married filing jointly for 2025. My wife received a retroactive lump sum payment from SSA of $115,000 (round numbers) in 2025 related to 2021-2024. From that lump sum, she had to repay her private insurance company $104,000 as a refund of LTD payments she had received from them between 2021 and 2024.   We should only be paying taxes on the net difference of $11,000, but I don't see instructions in the program for how to adjust the income down.   Her 1099 SA 1099SM for 2025 includes the $115,000 in her income. How do I claim a reduction/offset/deduction for that payment in Turbo Tax for 2025?

Shelley, I deleted everything in my Online test (we usually use Desktop because we can see the forms), and I started to re-add stuff. I had tried in my usual Online test to duplicate your issue, as well as my Lead, and we got results different from yours. So I did the HSA Reset to delete all HSA data in the test (like I told you), and I started the test anew.   When I got to the HSA interview, I was surprised to see that "Let's enter Shelley's HSA contributions" was immediately after "What type of HDHP coverage did Blank have during 2025?"   To my astonishment, I reproduced something similar to what you saw...a missing screen. TurboTax never asked for your spouse's HSA contributions. By chance, were you the primary taxpayer (making you first?) There is nothing wrong with that, but in my test, Shelley is the spouse.   And if you look at the list of screens below, you will see that the husband's "Let's enter [name] HSA contributions" is missing...this is why I asked if you were the primary taxpayer.   What I saw: Select the health-related accounts you had in 2025 (beginning of HSA interview) Did you use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for anything in 2025? (no, for the test) Was (your husband) covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) in 2025? (yes) Do any of these situations apply to (your husband)? (no) What type of HDHP coverage did (your husband) have during 2025? (Family plan all year) Let's enter Shelley's HSA contributions (surprise to me) Was Shelley covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) in 2025? (yes) Do any of these situations apply to Shelley? (no) What type of HDHP coverage did Shelley have during 2025? (Family plan all year) Your HSA Summary   Deduction for Shelley - $355!   OK, Shelley, this is what I need to make an investigation. In all of software, to address an issue, you have to be able to reproduce the issue, and I have been unable to until now.   Thanks for sticking with me.   [Ed 2/24/2026 7:28PM PST - corrected formatting]
