Michigan Flow-Through-Entity tax (FTE) is not supported in the current version of TurboTax (Online or Desktop). The solution is to complete Forms 6072/6074 as needed, entering the withholding amount on MI-1040 Line 30 in TurboTax, as well as overriding the total on Line 34. Manual entry requires the use of TurboTax Desktop to access Forms Mode.   If you are using TurboTax Online, see this article for instructions: How do I switch from TurboTax Online to the TurboTax software?   The FTE forms may be completed online and downloaded from the Michigan Department of Treasury here: MI State Forms Search. Instructions are included with the forms.   Overriding calculated numbers in TurboTax invalidates a return for e-filing. For this reason, you would need to print, sign, and mail your Michigan State return, along with the MI FTE forms, to the address below:      Michigan Department of Treasury      Lansing, MI 48956   We do not expect the Michigan FTE forms or calculations to be updated for tax year 2025.   @user17720731878

Following the steps that @DoninGA provided will prevent the Paid Family Leave from being treated as Self-Employment income, which could cause TurboTax to calculate Self-Employment Tax.   @macwes

I know it is not part of the return. It makes no difference if they are the worksheets that CRA provides or not. Whatever worksheets in the TurboTax software that require data entry to post to actual schedules and forms are important pieces of information to remember and track how numbers that got posted into the return were derived. We need to be able to print/save copies of them. How else are we supposed to respond to CRA review questions if we do not have the worksheets that show how the numbers were derived that post onto the tax return? Kindly advise the development team of the criticality of the need for this audit trail.

To make sure you get the deduction:   After you enter your 1099-R, you get a screen "Where is your distribution from?" - on that screen you can select a number of retirement providers As you go through your Arizona interview in TurboTax, you'll get to a screen "Government Pension Deduction Summary" that will show the $2,500 being deducted from your total taxable federal government pensions. If you click on Forms in the upper right in the blue banner, you can click on Form 140 in Arizona and scroll down to line 29a which is where the government pension exclusion of $2,500 is reported.
I check all the boxes no on SSA and 1099.  still wrong

Thank you Dave for the reply, and yes this is a viable workaround! But it begs the question of why TurboTax doesn't fix this problem to allow entry of negative numbers?  Clearly it is unintentional (i.e. a bug) since TurboTax's instructions say to enter a positive or negative number.
