When you receive a notification from TurboTax that your return has been “Accepted” it means that the IRS has accepted it for processing. It doesn't mean that it's been processed yet, just that it's complete and accurate for them to start working on processing your return.   The IRS issues most refunds within 21 days, assuming that there's no delay and nothing is holding your return. Some returns are subject to an automatic hold when certain credits are claimed.    Also keep in mind that once your return is accepted for processing by the IRS and/or state, we have no control over your return.    You should track your refund directly from the IRS and/or Department of Revenue’s Website. These websites have the most accurate and up to date information. They get updated once a day.    I share the link: Where's my Refund

Didn't the post above  help?   For Windows…..What I would do on the old computer, is copy the whole Turbo Tax folder that is under your Documents. That should be where the .tax files and pdf files are stored. Also if you haven't done it, I would open each year in the program and save it as a pdf file, go to FILE - SAVE TO PDF so you don't need the program installed to view your return. Copy that folder to a flash drive or best yet is to burn it to a CD or DVD and then you will have a backup of them. Then on the new computer copy the folder (or files) from the flash drive to your Documents folder. You only need the tax return data file ending in .tax2024 to transfer into 2025. You can't transfer the programs. They have to be installed from the CD or Download. You don't need to install older programs unless you need to amend or you didn't save the pdf file. And they only support the last 3 years. If you install an older year you won't be able to update it or download any state programs, so you won't be able to open your return. See this article on how to move your tax return to another computer……. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-data-file/help/how-do-i-move-my-tax-data-file-to-another-computer/00/26128

Guys this may be a real easy quick fix for this problem.  So I struggled for several days on this issue.  I use TurboTax on a MacBook pro using Firefox as my browser.  Stuck in the same endless loop that everybody else was username is correct password is correct but not doing anything past that always giving me an error.  So    Then I simply looked up how to enable third-party sharing on my e-trade account.  Go into your profile security settings and manage that.  While third party sharing was already enabled which doesn't explain why the error occurred I just hit save again and exited then tried to import into TurboTax again and it worked!    Hopefully this is the fastest easiest fix ever for you guys who are having the same issue.

If you have reached the annuity interview section and you have indicated "No" to the 403(b) plan question, follow these steps to bypass the annuity loop:   On the 1099-R entry screen, make sure Box 7 matches your form (likely Code 7 or Code 1) Ensure the "IRA/SEP/SIMPLE" box is unchecked  When the software asks, "Was this distribution from a 403(b) plan?", select "No, it's another type of qualified retirement plan" On the "Annuity information" screen, select "No" to periodic payments By selecting No in the above two screens, the software will treat it like a standard pension or 401k distribution and skip the "Annuity" questions entirely

What is considered "taxable income" when completing Maryland's two-income married couple subtraction worksheet. Is it only business income, wages, and pensions?

TurboTax user since 1993. Not next year. 17 pages of user complaints for the most basic bug - cannot import last year's file. This is an obvious and important bug and Intuit is refusing to fix it.  I already imported one tax file from 2024 and had no problem completing the return, using desktop TT on Windows 11. Attempting to load the second tax file, after clicking Transfer Return, does nothing.

If your touchscreen is not working for the top half of your TurboTax App, you can try re--restarting your iPhone, closing the TurboTax App, and checking for any IOS updates.    Also:   Make sure your phone is up to date.   Also, try removing your screen protector because a misaligned or dirty screen protector can make your touch screen less sensitive. If the issue is due to formatting, use the scroll bar on the right to move the page down. Sometimes there is ‌a Continue Button that is off-screen.  If the issue continues, you may need to delete the app, reinstall it. Clear your cache and cookies on your iPhone. To do this, if you have Safari; Go to Settings, then Safari and tap on Clear History and Website Data. Other browsers may have a slightly different way of clearing the cache and cookies.  Remember— You can log in to TurboTax Online to pick up where you left off if necessary.   If you have any additional questions or information, please return to TurboTax Community and we would be glad to help you.

These boxes are not consequential, and you can absolutely proceed to file as-is without overthinking it.    However, complete accuracy in details may help speed up the processing of your return and/or avoid additional oversight with the tax agencies. In TurboTax Desktop Windows, you can follow these steps to check the line 28 box: Switch to Forms view (upper right button), then  Select Form 1040-SR under Forms In My Return  Scroll down to line 28 and right-click on the checkbox itself Select About Not Claiming ACTC In the window that opens, click the blue link that appears and mentions the checkbox, which will take you to Schedule 8812 At the top of Schedule 8812, check this box:   Then, both your line 27c and your line 28 checkboxes will have consistent presentation.    FYI, your line 27c was checked somewhere along the way when you answered an interview question asking whether you would like to / or be able to claim the credit:

Sorry.  For 2025 you will need Windows 11 or later or Mac OS Sonoma 14 or later (newer). Click on the 2025 tab at the top. https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/tta-system-requirements   You will have to find a computer you can install it on or switch to the Online version.   Start an Online return here, https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online If you used the Desktop program last year here’s How to transfer into the Online version. You need to have the prior year .tax2024 file on your computer. Expand the link if you used the CD/download last year........ https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/transfer-last-year-return-turbotax-online/L279eUvY2_US_en_US?uid=l8w7nlbv Or here’s How to switch and transfer from the Desktop program into the Online version........ https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/how-do-i-switch-from-turbotax-cd-download-to-turbotax-online/00/859756   If you used the Desktop program before you may notice several differences and not like the online version. It has less features and no Forms Mode. The Online versions don't have all the same forms so you might have to upgrade to a higher Online version. You can only do 1 return per account. Your return is only saved online so be sure to save both the .tax2025 data file and the pdf file to your computer when you are done. In case you need to amend in the future or if you need a copy to get a loan or something. You might not be able to access your online return when you need a copy.
Thank you so much for your time y'all! Appreciate you going through each of my questions patiently @DanaB27  🙂
