No, you will enter your entire HSA contribution amount for 2025. After you do that, you will be asked to enter the amount you withdrew by the due date of your tax return. Form 8889 will be populated but will indicate that you withdrew the funds so you will avoid the penalty.

I didn’t receive a 1099-k from rover this year Due to the threshold being changed but I was told I should still report my earnings. I made around $7k for the year for Rover pet sitting but I don’t see an option when it comes to inputting income for “Let's enter the income for your Pet care services work” page. I’m not sure what to do?  How do I report my income if there isn’t an option?
Once the tax return has been e-filed, there is no other paper work that needs to be mailed.
If I purchased a download and my computers can’t accommodate program, can I apply the code for payment online?

The Form 1040-X for amending a 2025 federal tax return is estimated to be available in TurboTax on 03/04/2026   Forms and schedules availability website - https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product...   An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return. Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS. There are lots of complaints on the BBB website. People say they've been using TurboTax for years but are now losing confidence in them because of programming errors, etc.

We're working hard to finalize all tax forms to meet Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec (RQ) requirements. Some of these forms aren’t ready yet in TurboTax. https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca/help-article/tax-return/turbotax-say-for...   Once the forms are complete, you will receive an email by March 5th advising that they are ready for filing.   We appreciate your patience as we work to finalize these forms.

LIQUIDATION DISTRIBUTIONS Liquidation distributions, reported on Form 1099-DIV, are distributed when a corporation in which you own stock is going through a partial or complete liquidation. They may be received in the form of cash or noncash. An amount designated as a cash or noncash distribution is often not taxable, but is a reduction of your basis in the stock. So when you dispose of the stock, your basis for figuring gain or loss is reduced by the amount in this box. (It will result in a larger gain or a smaller loss when you dispose of the stock.) However, if the basis of your stock is already zero, or is less than the amount shown in this box, the amount is taxable and you need to report the amount that exceeds the basis in your stock as either a long-term or a short-term capital gain. If this liquidation is a final distribution from the company, you need to report a sale of the stock on Schedule D/ Form 8949     you can even skip entering the 1099 if that's the only line with an amount. TurboTax does not use it, it does not appear on Schedule B. The info is not transmitted as part of your e-file      Form 8949 is the proper place to report it
Do I need to mail in a copy of my competed 2025 1040x I completed on Turbo Tax?  I see one of the sheets on Turbo Tax has instructions for "mail in instructions," but I e-filed them on Turbo Tax.

@skaufmann , going back to our discussion re: Schedule-SE. While working on another 1116 issue, I came across Schedule-2 for 2025 and there is a box to check if you live/ earn in a foreign country with totalization agreement.  Turbo does have that box ( but I have not had a chance to test this yet ).  The instructions for Schedule-2 says ---  "If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien living outside the United States and your self-employment income is exempt from self-employment tax, you should get a statement from the appropriate agency of the foreign country verifying that your self-employment income is subject to social security in that country. Attach a copy of the statement, check box 3, and enter “EAS” on the entry space next to box 3."   Ref :  2025 Instruction 1040 -- page 112   Hope this helps

I have found it that whether you select Yes or No on Enabling Property, TurboTax does not actually check the Yes or No box on the return itself for 25a-e.  You can check this yourself on the Download/Print Return (PDF) option.     No idea when they will actually fix the glitch.  I spend a couple hours on this and another glitch with an agent the other day.

I ended up calling the DOR number.  They are pretty quick to answer and very helpful.   I resubmitted my Wisconsin taxes at 7:50 AM this morning (2/27/2026) and received a notice that the taxes were accepted at 10:37AM this morning.  I went to my TurboTax application and did a "Check e-file Status" and I have a message that now shows the taxes are accepted by the state.  So I think this should be working for people with retirement income.  I see "mikobr" also was able to get his taxes submitted last night so that is all good information to have.   While I am happy this problem appears to be resolved, it leaves me little comfort that I received such a runaround and outright falsehoods as to whose problem this was, along with no acknowledgement as to what really went wrong as they missed multiple promised target dates to get this resolved.  I will keep this in mind when purchasing the 2026 tax year.  My taxes are not that complicated but what a basic tax preparation application would work. TaxAct is looking better to me all the time 🙂   I appreciate all of the interaction and updates on this string with people stating their problems.  I was able to put the argument forward that this was not just me having the problem when TurboTax support implied that it was not a big deal.  It shut down their argument quite quickly.
