The Form 1040-X for amending a 2025 federal tax return is estimated to be available in TurboTax on 02/19/2026   You will have to wait for the IRS to either Accept or Reject your filed federal tax return. If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again. If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return. Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS. This is actually not all that much different than how Intuit's pro software works with importing from brokerage firms (or at least some of them).   In prior years, Merrill clients only needed to input their usernames and passwords in TurboTax and the program would just go and fetch the 1099s. It doesn't work that way this year.

First Data Reporting Services LLC is a legitimate payment processing service, but it may be that someone provided your name and social security number fraudulently to them, so the payments are reported under your name.  The best place to start is to contact the First Data Reporting Services LLC to find out- there are also instances where they process payments that are legitimate that you do not necessarily associate.
