Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted? Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.   You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".   After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.   Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.  Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.   To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product. If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...   After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

If you entered the Statement A amount only in the box for Box 20 Code Z, you may have missed the follow-up questions. Return to the Schedule K-1 topic and edit the K-1 that reported Box 20 Code Z. Continue with the interview until you see "We see you have Section 199A information." Check the box that applies (usually the first option). On the page "We need some information about your 199A income," be sure to check the first box and enter at least one type of income. Check any other boxes that appear on Statement A and enter the related amount. Continue back to the K-1 summary page.

That depends. As a general rule, whoever the child lived with for more than half the year can claim the child as a dependent. As XmasBaby0 mentions above, it's important for you and your ex to decide which of you will claim your child because if both of you claimed your child on your respective tax returns, it will delay the processing time so the IRS can determine which parent can claim the child.   The parent the child lives with the most is considered the custodial parent and the other parent the noncustodial parent. The custodial parent can allow the noncustodial parent to claim the child, but it must be documented.  You can use IRS Form 8332 to release the dependent exemption. This would allow the noncustodial parent to claim the child. However, the noncustodial parent typically cannot use the child to claim the Earned Income Credit (EIC) or Head of Household status, even with Form 8332.   The IRS will use the residency rule to determine who can claim the child if both parents claim the child. This rule says that who has the child the most nights can claim the child. If the number of nights are equal, the parent with the higher adjusted gross income will be allowed to claim the child as a dependent. So keep in mind, if, for example your ex is determined to be the custodial parent but lets you claim your child as a dependent on your tax return, you can not use that child for purposes of claiming head of household or the earned income credit.       Click here for Rules for Claiming Dependents on Taxes   Click here for Claiming a child as a dependent when parents are divorced, separated or live apart Please return to Community if you have any additional information or questions and we would be happy to help.
I tried to use other tax preparation software but it does not do that. I have used the itemized deduction for my federal tax return.

In the prior years' print PDF, try Ctrl + F searching for 4562. This should help pull up the location of Form 4562, Depreciation and Amortization.    If this does not work, try re-printing, and selecting the print setting to print all calculation worksheets:      You can also print the Depr Report separately, by switching to Forms mode in the upper-right hand corner (in TurboTax desktop Windows), select Depr Report from Forms in My Return on the left-hand side menu, and selecting Print from the bottom underneath the form.
