In my TurboTax 2025 desktop version " T. Rowe Price Brokerage" does not show up in the import list for importing 1099 docs even though it is listed in the TurboTax directory of 1098/1099 importable institutions ! The problem is that the T Rowe Price brokerage accounting is managed by a 3rd party (BNY Pershing) and that cross-connection apparently fails. If you try to import via BNY Pershing  it does not work either.  Something has to happen here !!!! I am tired of typing in transactions manually. @intuit TurboTax team: since you advertise in your product  that T Rowe Price Brokerage 1099 is supported for import into TurboTax you have to deliver ! I expect a fix for this in the next upgrade . Thank you.

Either way.   I usually get my state refund before federal but I just got my federal refund today and haven’t got California yet.

When I go to Less Common Income, it just asks me about medical stuff, when I put that none apply to me, it just routes me back to the income section without taking me to the options for Less Common Income. It's not allowing me to enter my child's Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend. When try to enter it under Other Common Income as a 1099-MISC it just tells me to enter it under the Less Common Income. Why isn't it working?

I purchased a minimum coverage (catastrophic) plan through Covered California (a healthcare marketplace) and received a letter in the mail from Covered California stating that I do not need a 1095-A to file my taxes. However, when I go to file my taxes, there is a question asking if I purchased health insurance through a marketplace and need to report a 1095-A. I purchased through a marketplace, but was told I do not need the form, so I'm not sure how to answer the question.

Once your tax liability is 0, any remaining credits roll over to the next tax year.
The timeline is yet another date that they probably wont make.

Yes, your daughter would need to file a nonresident South Carolina tax return in order to claim a refund for state taxes withheld there.   Federal Tax filing requirements for dependent children are different from those of other taxpayers.   A dependent child who has earned more than $15,750 of earned income (tax year 2025) typically needs to file a personal income tax form. Earned income includes wages, tips, salaries, and payment from self-employment. A dependent child who receives more than $1,350 in investment income in 2025 is required to file a tax return. Investment income includes interest and dividend payments. See this TurboTax tips article for more information.   You only need to report a dependent's Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) for ACA premium tax credit purposes if that dependent is required to file their own tax return. If they file only to receive a refund of withheld taxes, their income is not included.    See here for the South Carolina filing requirements.
Rounding the three numbers to the nearest whole dollar cleared the error.

We are retired collecting social security but have a couple of small businesses I operate out of our home.  Last year in October, we installed $23,472 of solar panels on our home.  However, when we complete the Residential Clean Energy section under Deductions and Credits in Turbotax Deluxe, it says that our tax credit is $0 and $7,042 will roll over to 2026 taxes.  Why?  Shouldn't all of that be applicable this year?  The small businesses are a book author, Amazon Vine reviewer of products and AirBnB for 6 months of an apartment in our detached garage and are certainly less than 20% of our home.

When will this be ready??
