How to Access prior year online returns https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/00/27010 If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2025 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2025.  I had to go though about 12 screens. If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online. So you need to make and keep your own backups. Or request a transcript from the IRS https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript Or get a copy of your return using form 4506 https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

You are far from alone in that hope.   My sense (and only mine) is that desktop won't disappear in the short-term but, eventually, TurboTax (as well as other tax software developers' products) will be 100% online. Hopefully, this will occur later rather than sooner.

I read that the future of TurboTax is online only? Please do not eliminate local installs for TurboTax. In an increasingly online world, the ability to keep data stored locally and privately is more important than ever. Installing TurboTax is not a hassle  (as the Intuit advertising email claims), and the online-only version does not work for many people. If TurboTax moves to a solely online model, I will choose to find another way to do my taxes.  Hope Turbo Tax continues to empower people, LOCALY.

There are numerous YouTube videos explaining how to install Win11 on personal computers without UEFI and those without TPM 2.0 CPUs.  The question is specifically whether TT25 uses any of the new security features of Win11 or simply checks for the presence of Win11.  I don't want to spend my money on TT25 only to find out that it will not function on my system and I have no intention of buying a new computer, and contributing hazardous waste landfill because of MS greed. In some areas, electronics being disposed are deemed to be hazardous waste.

Hilarious! You're claiming someone answered your question by posting, "I don't know....".

UEFI is the modern method for loading the operating system on the PC and provides enhanced security over the use of an old-fashioned BIOS.  Standard Windows 11 installation requires the use of UEFI.   I suspect that TurboTax requires and checks for Windows 11 not for any security reasons but instead for software compatibility reasons, and does not check the boot method or for TPM presence.  Maintaining compatibility with older OS versions can increase software development and maintenance costs and is probably the main reason for the Windows 11 requirement.
Thanks - you're the best and have a great day!

More information is needed.     Are you talking about 2025, 2024 or both?   Who owns the HSA?  An HSA is owned by one person only, there are no joint or family HSAs.  Are you the owner, or your wife, or do you each have accounts.  How much was contributed to each account?   Are you or your wife or both age 55 or older?   How were you covered in 2024 and 2025?  If you were covered by a family HDHP, then you can contribute up to the family limit even though your wife has other coverage (such as, you kept the family plan at your job so your wife would have secondary coverage).  However, if you downgraded your coverage to single, then your limit is reduced.   We can give more specific help if you can answer these questions.

Also, get your act together. Your original question was "I need to efile an 1120S tax return for 2024 for the State of Alaska."   First order of business, determine what you are trying to accomplish and then post the appropriate question instead of screaming at volunteers on this board who are trying to answer your (inartfully and inaccurately posed) questions.
Prior-year returns must be paper-filed. That's printed right on one of the support pages.
