It depends. Even though you are over 18, you may still be considered a qualifying child on your parents' return if you are permanently and totally disabled.   However, to qualify:    You must have lived with your parents for at least 6 months of the year Did not provide more than half of your own annual support Not be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return   Learn more by reading this article, Rules for Claiming Dependents on Taxes.
But if we leave off the cents isn't that putting a different amount than our W2 and would that be fraudulent? Mine are exactly 1.45%.

I do see the blue box indicating a qualifying dependent, as referenced. I have entered all direct deposit information and reached the final tax submission page without any further mention of IRS Form 4547 or the Trump Account reference.   I am hesitant to click the final “File” button, as it appears to be the final action and not reversible. If you are certain the system will prompt for or request additional information regarding this matter after submission, I am willing to proceed; however, I would appreciate a clearer understanding of when and where this information is expected to be provided.   The notice indicates this will be addressed later (as referenced by the blue box), and other threads suggest it appears in the “File” section, Step 2, but I have not encountered either. I would expect TurboTax to have a standardized and clearly defined process for this, but so far that has not been the case.   The article you shared provides helpful background on the account, but it does not explain when or where the account information should be entered within the tax filing workflow.   Any additional clarification or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

You can change the amount for outstanding mortgage balance. Since the 1098 instructions ask lenders to report beginning of year mortgage balance, but the tax return limits based on average, it is acceptable to adjust this figure, and doing so will not cause any errors. As @KrisD15 mentions, there will be no additional scrutiny from the IRS for this permissible input.   Make sure you are using an allowed method to compute the average balance.  You can use the average of first and last balance method, interest rate method, or statements provided by your lender.

You might, if your employer is a TurboTax Import Partner. However, we do ask for information from your W-2 to facilitate the import process. If you want to go ahead and try importing anyway, the first thing you'll need is your employer's EIN, or Employer Identification Number.     Will I be able to import my W-2 before I get it in the mail?       How do I import my W-2 in TurboTax Online?

When you enter W2, if you enter information on Box 14, you can select a category for that amount. After you enter your W2 the program will verify that the information is correct.  You would not have entered the information twice, since the second question was just to verify.  Refer to the images below: @ajcdmtw

You need to delete the 1099-R that you are currently working on and reload the form but make certain to select the 1099-R.

The person asking the original question is not talking about his 1095-A form. He is referencing the tax tool located here: Healthcare.gov Tax Tool   the original poster is correct that the 2025 data is not yet showing. (true as of January 27, 2026) We all have to wait for 2025 numbers to be able to complete the blank column B on our form 10095-A.  Last year, the results for 2024 posted at the tax tool on January 19th, 2025, so it is taking longer this year.
I don't have 10a or 10b

If the amount in Box 2a is correct, the IRS will use that as the taxable amount.  You do not have to calculate it yourself.
