@Gadgeteer   You can’t transfer from 2022 to the 2024 program.  Did you mean 2023?   You need to have the data file ending in .tax2023 on your computer to transfer into 2024.  It should be in your Documents in a Turbo Tax folder.   If you have it saved somewhere else like in One Drive or on a backup first copy it to your C drive.  If you don’t have the actual .tax2023 file you may have the temporary file that starts with a Tilde ~ sign.   That’s incase your real file gets lost or corrupted.    Here's an idea.  Do you still have 2023 installed?  Try opening 2023 program and see if you can get your 2023 return to show up in it.  Go to FILE - OPEN.   Then save it again with a name and place you can find.  Go to File - Save As.  Then start a new 2024 return and transfer from the 2023 file.
I ran into the same problem for 2024, non-Maine resident trying to file through Turbotax.  Will try mailing the forms, even though I already paid to do a Maine e-file :(   Please fix this Turbotax!

Turbo tax allowed my return to be uploaded, but when doing my duaghters return it would not.

This issue has been melting my brain for the past few weeks. I was so frustrated I had to put it aside multiple times to save my sanity. This worked for me and it's disappointing that Turbo Tax didn't offer this solution to it's customers - shame on them. You are my hero, thank you!
It's been an option in the past, but I don't see it this year.

It depends. If the wages were not from a New Jersey (NJ) source and you did not live in NJ in 2024 and if there is no NJ state tax withheld, then a return is not required for NJ. File Form NJ-1040NR if you had income from New Jersey sources for the part of the year you were a nonresident. NJ Instructions (page 3) If you meet all of the requirements above, then you would file only your Connecticut (CT) resident return for 2024.   If you do not meet all of the requirements, any income that is required to be reported on NJ would create a tax credit for CT. See details below should you need to pay any tax to NJ for the same wages taxed to CT. @BM85

If no one has any ideas, im just skipping taxes permanently and moving on with my life. Tried calling support and the person on the phone was in a noisy environment just moving around and not communicating enough after 2 minutes. Any bypass?
There are 2 types of dependents. There is no specific income limit for a child dependent. There is a $5050 income limit for a qualifying relative dependent.
@vuldub were you able to update your software? do you still have an issue with your T936?   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
Under Spouse Info, there are only fields for Middle initial, Last name and SSN or ITIN.

Still does not work.  I even did a new return from scratch.  The info is there when you click on the 68140 box 15 but it still has 0.00 when you exit.  Just horrible.

I paid the balance due on our 2024 federal tax return on the Turbo Tax site in the process of e-filing, but I haven't received a confirmation and the charge doesn't appear on my credit card as pending whereas later credit card charges due.  How can I get a confirmation?

Hi I have imported from interactive brokers. It asked me to review and I saw this "A portion of these dividends is U.S. Government interest". How do I know? Interactive brokers do sweep the cash into money market fund which buys US treasuries. Is your software able to pick these info automatically?   Thank you Leo
derricpam888 I am receiving the same issue - My full CPP amount is showing as an over payment which cannot be right.
