Right.  That's what we have been discussing here, that the 1099-B form isn't available on the desktop version.
TurboTax Flex Advance Loan is temporarily unavailable. Please check back later.
I have not made any estimated payments this year.
No, we pay far too much already. This split and charge mentality prices products out of reach for far too many people. This software is already as expensive as an entire PC operating system!

Yes, you can delete the imported slips from your online tax software and re-import them from your CRA account; however, with over 570 slips, you may encounter the same import issues as before.    Unfortunately, 570 slips from the CRA account cannot be imported. That's a large number of T-slips, which could cause a problem during importation. You must manually add all of the slips.   You may need to click an "Edit" or "View" button next to each T5008 entry and look for a "Delete" option.     Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

In order to use 2025 desktop download software you need Windows 11.

If you agree with the change made by the IRS, then you just need to pay the IRS the amount they say that you owe.  You do not need to "re-file" your tax return.   Read the letter from the IRS more carefully for how to pay them.   You can mail a check or money order or you can pay the IRS on their payment site.     https://www.irs.gov/payments     https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-payments/help/how-can-i-pay-my-federal-taxes/00/26212

@trapezewdc wrote: Thanks.   Following up on my question 2.   "Yes, you can deduct medical costs for yourself, your spouse, and your dependents, even if provided overseas."   If I file as married filing separately with my baby as a dependent, can I still deduct out-of-pocket medical/Rx expenses for my foreign national spouse ? Yes, the law just says "spouse", it does not prescribe their location, citizenship, or tax filing status.
When I filed, I was due a refund, but with the change, I now owe. There were no instructions on how to submit what I owe, but I need to re-file, right? TurboTax seems poor with that functionality.
Yeah .. just let us run TT  on Windows 10.   "At your own risk".   Ridiculous.

DID YOU E-FILE?   Did you e-file?   Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”     When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.   Check your e-file status:   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/    What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the return was accepted?   Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”   If you discover or realize that your e-file was rejected, you will need to print it, sign and date it in ink, and file it by mail now, since e-filing is closed for returns for tax year 2022.

When I open TurboTax 2024 or 2023 I get the "Do you want to update" prompt, I click yes, then allow the program to run and for a brief millisecond I see a small update window which immediately disappears.   I check task manager and it's not running.   Something is blocking the update from running.   I was assuming that the latest updates were Windows 11 only ....  I am running 0patch to keep my Windows 10 updated ... I turned it off and tried installing again ... and nothing.   Over the years this has only happened once .... during a TT2023 update ... the problem was acknowledged by TT and fixed....bizarre.   I may reach out the 0patch team and ask them if perhaps one of their patches is interfering with the update process.
Great at least I have options ....  Do either of those read TurboTax files so I can transfer info from previous years returns?
The total of required RMDs is more than 50% higher than it should be.
I see it and I do indeed need a copy of my 2022 tax return for my state thay say I didn't file my 2022 tax
How do we apply for the TurboTax Flex Advance loan?
