Why not? Have you had taxable income during those years? If you have had taxable income and should have been preparing tax returns since 2008, you need a lot more help than we can provide to you from this forum. You need to seek help from a local paid tax preparer who can help you sort out what needs to be done.

I think @Hal_Al knows something about Ohio state returns. Are you asking if you can attach a document to your return, like if the state requires proof of something? I believe that Turbotax does not allow any attachments, even if the tax service allows attachments. (This was a company decision, as far as I can tell.) If an attachment is absolutely required, you may have to print your return and file it by mail.
If you are really asking if Turbotax can download a document, the only documents I know of that Turbotax can download are W-2s from participating employers and 1099-B, 1099-INT and 1099-DIV from participating banks and brokers.

How you file it, with the IRS, depends on how the income is reported to you, if you are a US citizen/resident. How is your pay reported to you? Is it reported on a form T-4 (Canadian W-2)? Is it treated as scholarship? Is it treated as tuition remission? Something else? How much is it (is it enough to result in a tax liability)? Can you be claimed as a dependent by someone else?

I NEED A COPY OF MY W-2 (or 1099)
W-2's come from employers. There is not a federal or national website that provides W-2’s.
TurboTax does not have a copy of your W-2—the Wage & Tax Statement—issued to you by your employer, (nor does TurboTax have copies of your 1099’s). You should always save those documents for your own records. You could ask the employer(s) for copies or you can get a copy from Social Security (for a fee of $62).
To get a copy of a W-2 from Social Security https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501
https://www.irs.gov/help-resources/tools-faqs/faqs-for-individuals/frequently-asked-tax-questions-answers/irs-procedures/transcript-or-copy-of-form-w-2/transcript-or-copy-of-form-w-2
If you saved a pdf of your completed tax return, the worksheets will show the W-2 information you entered, but not the actual W-2.
You can get a wage and income transcript from the IRS: It will not show the actual W-2, 1099’s, etc, but will show the income information the IRS received. It will not, however, show your state information. It will only show the federal information.
https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
Or you can pay the IRS $30 for an actual copy of your tax return which will include copies of your W-2’s

We are very sympathetic and sorry for your health issues. But.....this is the user forum for preparing income tax returns using TurboTax software. We can answer questions about income tax and about how to use the software. We cannot advise you as to how to pursue disability benefits. There is no federal income tax credit for claiming a disability, except for a higher standard deduction for legal blindness. You need help from an attorney who specializes in helping with claims for Social Security disability.

MY REFUND WAS LESS THAN I EXPECTED
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/refunds/help/why-is-my-direct-deposited-refund-or-check-lower-than-the-amount-in-turbotax/00/25594
There can be a number of reasons why your refund was less than the amount you expected. First of all, look carefully at your actual tax returns. Next——check the IRS refund site https://www.irs.gov/refunds to see what the IRS says they issued for your refund. Sometimes the IRS reduces your refund. If the IRS reduced your refund they will send you a letter in several weeks.
There is sometimes confusion about the amount of refund to expect when users misinterpret the “summary” they saw in TurboTax. The amount of your refund is on your tax return. Federal refund is on line 35a on Form 1040 State tax forms are all different so we cannot tell you what line to look at on your state form. BUT it is important to actually LOOK at your tax return forms yourself and see the amounts of your tax refunds and/or tax due. A lot of confusion would be avoided by doing that.
Be aware also that your Federal refund and state refund do NOT come together. Federal and state tax returns are processed by two completely separate entities. There is no rule as to which one will come first,
It is also possible that your state reduced your refund for debts owed in your state—if the state reduced your state refund you will receive a letter from the state.
Did you choose to have TT fees deducted from your Federal refund? (Remember that if you did that, you also agreed to an extra refund processing fee of $40 or $45 in CA)
How can I see my TurboTax fees?

TurboTax does not have your W-2. W-2’s come from employers. There is not a federal or national website that provides W-2’s. If your employer is partnered with TurboTax to allow the W-2 data to be imported into the software you can do that---but you need the actual W-2 so that you can enter the EIN and the amount from box 1 to import the other data from the W-2---which just saves you the little bit of keying in of the other information.
Every 2024 W-2 that you received must be reported on your 2024 tax return, even if they are for small amounts. Remember that each one of those W-2’s has your Social Security number on it, and that income was reported to the IRS by the employer. You do not want trouble with the IRS for under-reporting your income or have your refund delayed by having missing income.
ALL of your W-2’s must be entered on the SAME tax return.
Go to Federal>Wages & Income to enter a W-2.
After you enter the first one, you click Add Another W-2.
W-2's come from your employer, and they have until January 31 to issue it. Some employers allow you to import the W-2 through the software, but for security reasons you still need information from the actual W-2 to import it. Some employers have payroll sites that will have your W-2. You might need to phone, text, drop in, email and/or snail mail an old employer to make sure they know where to send your W-2.

https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/import-enter-w-2/L55HzdeDr_US_en_US?uid=m68efe36
And….SAVE YOUR OWN W-2! TURBOTAX DOES NOT SAVE IT FOR YOU. TurboTax will not have a copy of it in your account and will not have an image even if you snapped a photo or imported it. It is up to you to save it for your own records as stated on the back of the W-2.
