I have reported installment sales of an inherited property in my 2024 Turbotax return for which the gain will be realized in 2025.  In the "Forms" view in Turbotax, it shows Form 6252 with the proper details.    But the final return does not have this form.  How come?  Is this a bug?   Thank you.
I bought the deluxe edition from Costco that comes with both federal and state. They came with a $10 credit and brought the price down to $15.

Actually, step by step is better.  After the initial screens in the Foreign Tax Credit section (referring to INT/DIV),  you're asked a couple questions on using the simplified method.  Then you'll see a screen 'Completing Forms 1116,  and the next screen is where the various income types are listed.     Here's more info on Claiming the Foreign Tax Credit.   @srr
I can't find anything in the instructions. I think I will just attach the entire IRS return with all of the forms. I would rather attach too much than not enough.
If you used direct debit to pay your tax bill, yes, the IRS will take the amount you authorized on the date you authorized.   How can I pay my taxes?

Hi, It was rejected due to Fed rejection.   However, I logged into IRS.gov and created a PIN and a few minutes later, I got a message that Federal was accepted (without me having to resubmit or correct anything through TurboTax).   My fear is that the STATE is now in limbo (pending) and still thinks Federal has been rejected and waiting for correction before it tries State again.   Hope that makes sense!  Thanks

I’m having such a hard time with this error. This is obviously a glitch, has anyone resolved this 1099-K needs review error? All my personal sales were at a loss. This should not be this difficult. I really need help and the only way is to upgrade to live assistance to get any help? This is truly unacceptable, and I’m not confident that I will get this resolved by upgrading since I’ve been reading other people’s experiences.
At the end of 2024.

If you owe taxes, the penalty for not filing on time AND not paying is much higher than the penalty for not paying.  You should file your return if you are ready, even if you can't pay.  You can select "I will pay by mail" so the IRS will not take a tax payment from your bank account.    If you are not ready to file either, get an extension, and file when you can.   Then, after you file your return, go to the IRS web site and look at options for payment plans.   https://www.irs.gov/payments/payment-plans-installment-agreements   Depending on the amount you owe and the time it will take to pay, getting on a payment plan will reduce the penalties for late payment.
