I already tried this but it still doesn't add intangible drilling costs to California taxable income. The turbotax support representative also tried this but couldn't get this adjustment reflected on California tax forms generated. It seems Turbotax didn't update the software for 2024 California income tax law disallowing IDC deduction. Amended California return form also has the same issue.

Go by what is on Where's My Refund. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.   Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

I actually need a letter from a CPA or Tax Accountant stating my average expenses to my gross income.  My question is that since I paid for Live Tax Help in 2023, is there an actual Tax Preparer that can write this letter in regards to 2023 taxes?   Here is a sample letter which must be on their letterhead so there is no  confusion:   To Whom it may concern: I, (CPA Name or tax preparer), am writing to verify that (borrower name) has been self-employed for the past 2 years. (Borrower name) owns X% of (company name). The business has an average expense factor of <XX%> of gross revenues. Please contact me if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, (CPA or Tax Preparer name) (CPA or Tax Preparer License #) (CPA or Tax Preparer Contact #) (CPA or Tax Preparer Signature)
We have sent you an email receipt with the license code.   Thanks for choosing TurboTax.

I replied earlier that TurboTax business 2024 was working good then stopped working after I received the update Windows 11, version 24H2 in early February 2025.   I was not able to uninstall that update.    It turns out that update was installed on Feb 28, 2025 on my computer.   Turbotax crashed before that.   I need solutions.  I have tried the troubleshooting windows update but it reported it could not find the problem.     To reset my computer, and then reinstall all of my programs and all of my data would be catastrophic to me.

The foreign tax rate that you paid isn't what that multiplier is about.  It's about your US tax rate.  You can't take a deduction for the full amount of foreign tax that you paid because you can only take a deduction for what the US tax would be on that foreign income.  In your case the system already figured out that that is 15%.   @ap101
Yes - I thought I had completed the E-File process when I received the "E-File Pin #".
If you earn money in Alabama as a resident of FL, you would pay taxes on the money you earned in AL to AL as a non resident.  So, you would need to file a Non Resident Alabama return.
