you can not upload  PDFs to TurboTax. If your  broker partners with TurboTax, you import the 1099s   for example under interest and dividends you would select add investments. a window should open where you would type in your broker's name. After that, i can't offer help because different brokers use diffferent procedures to allow import.
Waiting for any reply or help to solve this problem.Thanks-Jay

"article" is a generous term   this is devoid of any useful information. Plus, the barrier to efiling is not that there is some specific circumstance in my situation that prevents it. All I get is that the filing period closed in 2025. It seems to forget this is an amended return and not a new file of 2024 taxes.
just ignore them. they are not part of your e-file. they're for printing and mailing with a payment.    the alternative. find the estimated tax section and select no estimates.    i
I have the same error, I think it is something to do with a 1099Q and payment of secondary education tuition. I have entered the student status on the People worksheet, but no luck, error remains.
It was accepted by the state on 1/29/2026
No version of TurboTax does gift tax (709) 0r even estate tax returns (706).  FORM 709 AND INSTRUCTIONS

Summary of IRA and Roth Transactions (2024–2026) 1. 2024 Tax Year Activity In the 2024 tax year, I made non-deductible contributions to a Traditional IRA as part of a Backdoor Roth strategy. • The basis was reported on Form 8606 in the 2024 tax return. • The line #14 in 2024 tax year’s 8606 = 7001. The IRA Information Worksheet Line 7 showed: Person 2024 Basis Taxpayer 12,000 Spouse 12,000 These amounts represent cumulative nondeductible IRA basis carried forward into the next tax year.   2. 2025 Tax Year Activity Received Form 1099-R issued in 2026 for the 2025 tax return that is for the backdoor completed in 2024, and reported in 2024 via 8606. Also, a direct Roth IRA contribution of $7,000 each was made for: Person Contribution Taxpayer $7,000 Spouse $7,000 These contributions appear correctly in the Roth IRA Contributions Worksheet with: • Total Roth contributions: $7,000 each The IRA Information Worksheet Line 6 in the 2025 return shows: +7000 from what was there in 2024. This is correct. The IRA Information Worksheet Line 7 in the 2025 return shows: Person 2025 Basis Taxpayer +14,000 over what was in 2024 Spouse +14,000 over what was in 2024 This is not correct. The ROTH IRA conversion basis should be +7000 over what is in 2024 instead of +14000. What could be making this inflated.
I had to verify my return on the ID me app with a 14 digit control number I did that but how long after will I get my return does anyone know
The point being that if TurboTax can't show the same, then why force Win11 is necessary.    Besides, it was meant to be sarcastic...
Form 1099 = $3200.00 Tax return lists $14480.00
And when I look up track my refund it doesn't it says it it's almost here but not here like it's stuck

Hi   I'm a non-resident of NYS with rental property.  The income for 2025 is net loss after expenses and depreciation.  I have no other NYS income.  I went thru the Turbotax questionnaire for NYS, but everything is "0" that is allocated to NYS.  How do I know if Turbotax actually filled out the correct forms needed to document my situation?   I want to make sure that the Passive Activity Loss is documented for future.  There is no way for me to check the forms filled out until I actually pay for the filing.
wokndadog: There is no reason to be upset or rude. M-MTax was just trying to help. IF you do not like his answer, then just ignore it and move on. These are all "free" advices, aren't they?
I also had the same issue. My return was rejected and I received the same message. I'm using Turbotax Deluxe.
